I was thinking they had it going for a long time and kept adding more leaves.
Thought I wouldn’t discount that they just like their tea incredibly strong.. and probably bitter. Hell I used to love my tea chifir’ style. Nowadays I have the palate to sense how harsh it is, but the psychoactive effect is unique and pleasurable. Though with sencha, enjoying that sounds like a challenge.
